Welcome to Technology Support Services!»A Little About UsTechnology Support Services, a unit of OSU's Information Services, includes the Community Network, OSU Computer Helpdesk, and software distribution. The purpose of Technology Support Services, as well as this web site, is to help you find answers. »Community NetworkThe Community Network is a centralized service established in early 1995 to offer a full range of computing services to departments and colleges. We currently provide servers, applications, and computer support for approximately 60% of OSU faculty and staff. The Community Network is designed to provide reliable, low-cost, on-site computer and desktop support. This centralized network better utilizes the University's resources to manage, maintain, and upgrade departmental systems, and hence free up departmental staff for other responsibilities. The mission of the Community Network is to provide a reliable computing environment with responsive support that enables faculty and staff to effectively use technology to enhance their productivity and promote the overall mission of the University. For more information, see the Community Network page. »OSU Computer HelpdeskThe OSU Computer Helpdesk provides both phone and email 'how-to' assistance on a variety of operating systems and software products, including internet tools, software applications, Blackboard, and ONID.
