»Our Mission

The mission of the Community Network is to provide a reliable computing environment with responsive support that enables faculty and staff to effectively use technology to enhance their productivity and promote the overall mission of the University.

»Who We Are

The Community Network is a centralized service established in early 1995 to offer a full range of computing services to departments and colleges. We currently provide servers, applications, and computer support for over 50% of the campus-based OSU faculty and staff. The Community Network is designed to provide reliable, low-cost, on-site computer and desktop support. This centralized network better utilizes the University’s resources to manage, maintain, and upgrade departmental systems, and hence free up departmental staff for other responsibilities.
