Community Network Office 2007 Migration

The Community Network is in the process of deploying the newest versions of Microsoft Office. To ensure that we can provide the highest level of service to our customers, it is important that you use current versions of software. With the availability of Office 2007 for the PC and Office 2008 for the Mac, CN will cease support for versions of Office prior to Office 2003 (and Office 2004 for Mac), effective June 30, 2009. Although departments aren't required to upgrade at this time, we are strongly encouraging it sometime over the next year.

Because Office 2007/8 has a new interface (look and feel) and it uses a new file format, there are some issues to consider before your department migrates. The following is designed to explain the process that CN has put together to help this migration be successful.
