Access SoftDist with Mac OS X
| If you want to install software housed on the software
distribution server from your Mac, you can do so by following the
steps detailed below.
|
- In the 'Finder', select the 'Go' menu and then 'Connect to
Server'. The following dialog box should appear.
|
- In the 'Connect to Server' window, click on the 'Address'
field and type softdist2.tss.oregonstate.edu. Click the 'Connect' button.
|
- The 'Authentication' dialog box appears. Type in your username
and password, then click 'Connect'.
