- In the 'Network' control panel, select 'Client for Microsoft
Networks' and then click the 'Properties' button. The following
window appears.

- Make sure the 'Log on to Windows NT domain' check box is UNCHECKED.
Then click OK.

- Click OK again to close the 'Network' control panel. Windows
will rebuild the driver database and ask you to reboot, select
'Yes'.

- After your workstation reboots, you will see a login window.
If this is the 'Novell' login window, just click 'Cancel'. If
you do not have the Novell client software on your machine,
you will not see this window or have to carry out this step.

- The 'Windows Password' window will appear, as shown below.

- Do not enter your usual username and password. Instead,
enter the username (type in SOFTDIST\username) and password
that were given to you for access to SoftDist. Then click OK.
