Off Campus Access

Due to licensing agreements and security concerns access to this service is limited to on-campus IP addresses only. If you are trying to access this service from off campus you will need to launch the Cisco Virtual Private Network (VPN) client on your local system and establish a VPN connection to campus. If you do not have OSU's Cisco VPN client set up on your system you will need to obtain and install the software first. Information about where to obtain, how to install, and how to use the software can be found in our How do I setup VPN (Vitual Private Network) knowledgebase article.

What is a VPN?

A Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a means of having a secure channel between your local computer and a computer at a remote location. This is done by creating a "tunnel" (a special encrypted connection) over the internet. It provides a secure way to connect and exchange data over public networks.
